Krystal is the head coach and director of Club Green Volleyball.  She is was the head volleyball coach and PE/Health Teacher at El Modena High School.  Krystal received her degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis on teaching and coaching, at San Diego State. She received her teaching credential in Physical Education at Long Beach State.

Krystal has a passion for teaching volleyball skills to young players and bringing them to the next level. Her practices are challenging and fun.  “I want to provide each player with the fundamentals and skills to help them achieve their goals whether it be playing on the high school varsity team to securing a college scholarship.

Krystal  was a scholarship player at Vanguard University and was a member of the 2003 Golden West College State Championship Team. She has successfully coached both boys and girls teams at Whittier Christian High School, Los Altos High School, and La Jolla Country Day School. She was a clinician at the USC Volleyball Camp and coached at Impact Volleyball Club in Yorba Linda. She was the director of beach volleyball for Olympian Sinjin Smith’s Volleyball Camps in San Diego. She was the assistant volleyball coach for Cerritos College.

She played for Specifit Volleyball Club.  Played middle blocker in high school and garnered MVP, all league and all tournament team honors.  As a senior, she led Downey High School to the third round CIF  playoffs, the furthest that Downey has ever gone to that date.  Honored as the League Co-MVP.



Ashley coached for over 6 years at Club Green Volleyball.  She was also a clinician and coach at the Long Beach State setters camps as well as the skill camps.

Ashley played four years of indoor volleyball for Long Beach State on a full athletic scholarship.  Her team made it to 4 NCAA post season playoffs and almost upset USC during her Freshman season.  As a Freshman, she was an outside hitter.  As a sophomore, she was an outside hitter and defensive specialist before she got injured.   As a junior, she was a setter, and led the team to a conference championship.  In her senior campaign, she again led her team as a setter and was the National Player of the Week when she recorded a rare quadruple double.  She finished playing Sand Volleyball for her last year of collegiate eligibility at the University of Hawaii at Menoa, in 2012.  In 2014, she played professional volleyball for Sagres NUC in Switzerland as a setter.

She was AAA beach rated at 15 and represented the USA in the FIVB under 19 Women’s Beach Championships in Bermuda at age 16. Ashley and Krystal have won various grass doubles tournaments together.

Ashley Lee was a 4 year  MVP at Glen A. Wilson High School and a Miramonte League MVP in 2007. In her senior year, she led Wilson to their first CIF Volleyball Championship.  She was honored as the CIF player of the Year and San Gabriel Valley Tribune Player of the Year.

Played on the first Club Green Team. Starting setter on La Serna’s varsity team before graduating and playing on the Azusa Pacific University Club Volleyball Team. Graduated with a degree in Psychology. Coached a successful season for Club Green last year.

Works with Coach Krystal as a Coach at Valencia High School.  Head coach of team based at Valencia High School in Placentia.  Coached a Club Green Team out of Valencia High School last year and will continue with another Valencia Team this year.


Danielle Diaz is a graduate of Cal State university Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. She played Club volleyball for 6 years. Her passion for the sport led her to beach volleyball where her and her partner reached number 2 in the state in 2013.

In 2015, Danielle was the head coach at Whittier Christian Junior High and later that year was head coach for the 12 and under team for Club Green Volleyball.

 In 2016, she was the head coach and ran the strength and conditioning program for the Frosh/Soph team at Whittier Christian High School where she led this team to an undefeated season and were named league champions.  She coached the 16 Elite team for Club Green for the 2017 season as well as the Whittier Christian High School Boys JV volleyball team where they were named league champions.



Norm and Jeanne Lee:  Co-Director and Director of Finance

Raise and guided their two daughters, Krystal & Ashley, through middle school, high
school, club, beach and college volleyball. A great resource for those parents who
would like to learn more about what volleyball has to offer for their children and how
to help them be successful in this sport.

Norm has been involved in volleyball most of his life. Played indoor, beach, and grass volleyball in his younger days.  Taught Jeanne to play.  Norm and Jeanne, husband & wife team,  became a great coed doubles team.  Norm was a teacher(PE/Math/Biology) and coach(football, basketball, swimming, water polo, volleyball) at Fairfax High School.

Norm Coached the Glen A. Wilson High School Volleyball Team.  Director and sponsor of the Boys Volleyball Clubs at Fairfax and Glen A. Wilson High Schools. Norm and Jeanne founded and ran numerous grass volleyball tournaments for the County of Los Angeles Parks and Recreation. Founded the volleyball league that eventually became Westside Volleyball. Jeanne and Norm started the Under 7’ Volleyball, a recreational volleyball league for adult players. Founded and directed Smash Volleyball Club in 2002.
